Apprentices Riley & Zidane setting high standards

Riley, pictured left with New homes Manager Max Mason, has just passed his assessment and is now a qualified floor layer after completing a two year apprenticeship. He started this in January 2023 age 17.

Zidane, pictured right with Commercial Manager Matt Bull, has been with us a year and on a recent part of his apprenticeship we received the following email from the director at FITA (Flooring Industry Training Association):  

"I just wanted to send an email to let you know just how helpful Zidane has been this week during his apprenticeship block training. Alongside their training I arranged for FITA and Webs to engage with Construction Open Doors, an event that supports informing those that may be the future workforce of the sector about different trades. We arranged 2 session and Zidane very kindly volunteered to support during those session by showing the school some best practice commercial vinyl welding skills and spent time supporting the students that also wanted to have a go themselves. So, as his employers I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for his support and how confident and patient he was in supporting the event, he was fantastic!"

Great work from both who received a gift voucher and some beer as a reward for their efforts.
